Call for Proposals

The CIMA Education Committee is excited to announce the call for proposals for the virtual CIMA Fall Caucus.

When: October 22, 2026 from 11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. MDT

Where: Virtual 

This year's theme is Growing with Intention! We are looking for sessions that explore thoughtful approaches to advancing collections, institutions, technology, and careers in a changing landscape. We welcome submissions on the following topics, as well as proposals that highlight the great work of archivists across the Intermountain West.

• Building Resilient Careers and Institutions
• Budgeting for Success and Finding Creative Funding Opportunities
• Exploring New Workflows with New Technologies
• Strategic Collecting and Outreach for Unique Collections

We encourage all types of presentations, individual, group, and panels. We look forward to hearing what you have to share with the CIMA community!

Submission deadline: Friday, October 2 2026 at 5:00 p.m. MDT
