The Conference of Inter-Mountain Archivists and the Nevada Library Association (NLA) will be co-sponsoring a conservation workshop on October 6th, during the upcoming NLA meetings in Carson City, Nevada. The workshop, taught by Michael Frazier, will include instruction on the basic conservation techniques of professional paper mending and cleaning. The workshop will provide practical hands‐on experience, coupled with lectures focused on library science and preservation theory.
Registration for the workshop is $115, which includes lunch and a full preservation toolkit. Registrants are also invited to attend other NLA workshops during the conference. Registration information is available at the Nevada Library Association website.
