Yellowstone National Park has position openings for three full-time, term-funded project archivists to work in our Heritage and Research Center located at the north entrance of the Park in Gardiner, Montana.
The successful candidates will be responsible for processing complex collections of personal papers and historical records: appraising, arranging, preserving, describing through written finding aids, and cataloging the collections into a collection management system and shared library catalog. The archivists will also survey and reappraise collections, conducting research into provenance and making recommendations
for retention, processing, and preservation.
