This year’s Fall Caucus will be Wednesday September 29 in Salt Lake City. Brad Westwood from the Church History Library and Archives is hosting and the caucus itself will be held in the lovely Joseph Smith Memorial Building (JSMB) on the edge of Temple Square. It is planned to last from 9-2:30 with a tour of the Church History Library and Archives soon afterward.
The three sessions will focus on donor agreements and legal questions surrounding these. Soon we will be sending out a call to all institutions in CIMA to send samples of their current donor agreements for use in the caucus sessions.
But for now, there is another question that requires immediate attention: transportation and parking.
We encourage as many attendees as possible to use public transportation or the paid parking lots near Temple Square. For those needing to stay overnight in Salt Lake, the University Guest House at the University of Utah charges $89 per night and is right on the TRAX line which will carry you to a very short walking distance from the JSMB.
For those who will have to drive to the caucus and cannot pay for parking, we can get special parking permits for you, but we need to have your names as soon as possible. Please send a brief message to Sister Joann Mortensen within the next couple of days so that she can arrange for a permit in a timely manner.
Thanks, and we hope to see you there!
